ITA was founded on March 14, 2000, with the aim of improving the exchange of information between the car manufacturers and suppliers on the one hand, and the IT-Service Providers on the other hand, with emphasis on the analysis of supply chain logistics.
Currently more than 50 well-known firms from the IT sector, with a wide range of core competences, are represented in ITA. They know the automotive business processes in detail, and have the capability to develop and implement the specific IT systems needed by the industry, or to provide IT-technology advice in a consulting role. The ITA-member firms employed in 2009 around 325.000 personnel and booked revenues of around 48 billion Euro.
ITA participates in international committees and organisations e.g. ODETTE, AIAG and OAGi. This ensures the transfer of know-how and competence, and enables ITA to influence developments on the international and european levels, with the result that the IT-based automotive processes become more transparent to all and therefore more effective.

Einladung zum Projekt - und |

ITA lädt für den 08. und 09. März 2010 ein zum diesjährigen Projekt- und Innovationsworkshop im Hotel Hessischer Hof, Frankfurt am Main. Das zweitägige Treffen bietet den Teilnehmern die Möglichkeit, an ihren Projekten inhaltlich weiterzuarbeiten, die Projektplanung und -anfor-derung im Team zu verfeinern, Präsentationsunterlagen der Projekte zu erstellen sowie Projektanträge zu finalisieren. Zudem ist das Treffen die Plattform um neue Projekte mit Projektanträgen zur Diskussion einzubringen. Im Fokus steht das Networking der Teilnehmer, die in den vergangenen Jahren das Forum immer ausgiebig zum Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustausch genutzt haben. Dieses Jahr wird zusätzlich der neu etablierte Bereich Innovation vorangetrieben. Hierbei wird ausgehend von der Erwartungshaltung der Teilnehmer an das Thema. |

Innovation@ITA evaluiert, welche IT Innovationsthemen durch ITA zukünftig forciert werden sollen. Als Gedankenanstoß wird es eine Keynote über die Trends in der Automobilindustrie geben. In Form von Innovationsworkshops werden die durch die Teilnehmer ausgewählten Innovationsthemen erarbeitet und beleuchtet.
